  1. A 100k is what you make it...it could be a little it could be a lot. Give the average person 100k example (some of the auto workers that took the buy out back in 07-08) and they'll have little to nothing left of it probably in as little as a year later mostly wasted on material or depreciating things. Give the right people 100k or me and in 6 months to a year I'll have that person's 100k back to them and at least a 100k or more for myself not bragging just facts.
  2. Nice, clear explanation on basic finances. Thank you. Keep sharing.
  3. Do the "bills" include food, Gasoline, toiletries, haircuts, kids school trips/clubs? I'm guessing nope!!
  4. Its sad but thats not any money
  5. Too real
  6. what are you spending 56k on if you are planning to buy shoes and tvs with your 14k? also if the person has kids are they giving up 30k in taxes? why would you need to support your mother at 52 years old? shouldn't she be a leading person in her field by this point? shouldn't my mom make 100k if she's been working for 20plus years?

I love your premise and you did a nice job w the breakdown. keep up the good work. I will watch some more of your videos, i am sure there is one breaking down that 56k number.
  7. Well done Professor Jones. I'm forwarding to my W-4 people. Thanks.
  8. How do you expect an independent pizza parlor (for arguments purposes) owner to shell out 500k for just 5 unskilled employees? What do you think will happen to the price of pizza after this asinine wage increase? They certainly won't be charging $20 for a pie anymore. Not to mention the business owner has to pay taxes, overhead, rent if they don't own the building, maintenance, supplies to keep their business going, etc. How do you expect businesses to stay open? You think a cashier at a clothing store deserves 100k? High taxes are incentives to either A) not employ people, B) not open a business, or C) take their business outside the country where they won't be demolished with these taxes.

If you're going to try to educate people on economics you have some serious research to still do, not to mention you really shouldn't be saying "hunnit" and "bro" during your lecture. Any shred of credibility goes flying out the window.
  9. You lost me after you said bill to income ratio.
  10. Thanks for sharing learned a lot.
  11. I live in Queens NY, and you are absolutely positively correct.
  12. Uncle sam taking too much man
  13. The tax in The Netherlands is 52%
  14. That's real talk. When I first started my career in started earning a lot more but I also added on a lot more bills so in all I was still making the same or less than before. Sense then I figured out my money an debt ration now I cut down big time and able to save half of my wife and I net income which is right over 100k. Thanks brother for the knowledge.
  15. 100k is indeed not much, 50 million and higher is much.
  16. speaking in terms of buy and hold
  17. if someone told you their goal was 100 k passive income, would you recommend buying few properties and paying them off? or is it wiser to buy as many properties as you can using leverage?
