The company has said they have plans to invest over one billion dollars in new facilities in order to begin producing their first all-electric car. The concept car of the future, dubbed Mission E, has made elaborate boasts, such as having a range of around 310 miles per electric charge and the capacity to charge nearly 80 percent of the battery in just 15 short minutes. The people at Porsche say this vehicle will not let anyone down when it comes to speed, acceleration is prophesized to be able to go from zero to sixty miles per hour in only 3.5 quick seconds. The inside is spacious and covered in soft leather while the outside is thought to remain with the classic Porsche look, only smaller and smoother to allow for precision, acceleration and sinister high speeds. No word yet on how much this speedy baby will cost you, but it’s probably a lot. 3 - Luxury in Motion The F015 is the newest Mercedes-Benz model car about to hit the showroom floors, it's billed as a car of the future as it features the uncanny ability to drive itself. This vehicle is said to even be able to parallel park all by itself. An electronic motor drives the three rings which encompass the strange looking futuristic vehicle well a gyroscope and two side wheels keep the strange beast upright during tight corners, this car has yet to begin actual production. But the futuristic design is turning quite a few heads and many companies are strongly considering investing in this new prototype concept for a car of the future. 1 - BMW Z5 BMW has jumped into the future car game with this startling new prototype called the Z5, a whole new roadster. The BMW Z5 is theorised to contain a twin-turbo straight six engine, a long hood, short rear deck, short overhangs, soft top and low driving position. But all of this is only rumours as BMW is being super hush hush about their newest roadster prototype. Recently a video of a secret test of the new model car was spotted online showing the car speeding across a frozen lake and easily manoeuvring doughnuts. The current BMW Z4 is currently retailing around 49,000 dollars, rumours circulate that the upcoming roadster could sell for well over 55,000 before options.
