1. Take home points:
   
   1. More money will not solve problems created by not knowing how to handle money
   2. They don't teach about money in Medical, Dental, Law School, etc
   3. Many, many wealthy looking professionals have lots of debt and are just like this guy.
2. Why r they calling Dave Ramsey? It's common sense ..they make such a huge income 235k. They can be debt free in just 3 years leading a normal life style. These people study so much bust basically lack minimum planning and thinking ..
3. I don't know if it's a good idea for Dave to be drinking anything at the beginning of a call. You never know when the caller will say how many hundreds of thousands of dollars of debt they're in. Don't wanna see Dave do a spit take or start choking.
4. I'm an RN and I meet doctors like that all the time. They have their kids in private school, drive a nice car, have a nice new house. Everyone wants to live the lifestyle they thing they deserve, not the one they've earned.
5. They bring home $20k a month and the house payment is under $2k. Where on earth are they spending the other $18k a month?!?? That's $600 a day that they're just throwing at stuff. Insane.
6. I only came here to see what career the caller had lol.
7. All that money/income and they still have the mindset of a consumer. I can't stress this enough wealth is just a mentality. I could take every dime from Bill Gates and he would just get rich again.
   
   These people are just highly trained, highly skilled, highly paid consumers.
8. Dave's skills with WHINERS is unsurpassed. Seriously, he's a masterful communicator.

10. I think the guy feels defeated looking at the sum of his debts and subconsciously figures "why even bother trying?" and thus wallows in more debt.  He has a defeated attitude, which is silly because he could pay this debt off quite quickly if he would man up a little.

12. Dave is not taking taxes into consideration, almost half is going to the iRS
13. man...if I was making 250K a year I would live on 75K a year and bank the rest.....even if I had to live in one room
14. Notice how Dave routinely disconnects the caller in the last minute or two just so he can get in the last word for himself?
15. all book smart, yet no common sense....
16. They need to cut up the plastic set aside 100 dollars a week for groceries and spend no other money except for bills for 2 months and see how little they can live on it will open their eyes to what they are wasting . There are people who make 20 thousand dollars a year that manage to take care of their families and not go into debt. How can people this smart be so dumb about money?
