2. I agree with most, however, when it comes to search engine optimization, my how to videos on real estate investing being on youtube has been the main reason behind rankings. Use wordpress for your blogs, but host your videos on youtube. They are making a big push right now for "dynamic content" that includes video, so it will definitely get you more exposure.
