1. foreigners from large economies that are able to generate large sums of money come into poorer countries like jamaica and buy up large areas of the best lands i dont see the common jamaican competing with that. mortgage/renting is a form of slavery.
2. Jamaica should have had land reform after independence from england, land should have been granted to the people. now we have a serious squatters problem, in a small economy such as this i dont see the common jamaican owning a home.
