3. This is transcendental! I went to college and graduate school and did all the things my parent's generation pushed on me. I have a ton of debt, which is manageable because of my career. If given the chance, I would do it all over again. But the "old school" way certainly isn't for most people. I'm happy to hear about this unique, ground breaking university and I will be sharing this podcast with many people. Thank you!

13. In Iran, we study for free in public universities and colleges. We are only to pay for uni accommodation which is very cheap! and if you study in rural areas, your accommodation fees are subsidized.

15. When you are first starting out in work, the best thing you can do is make your boss' life easier. Brilliant! In the simplest terms, this is why you were hired. This is why you are necessary in this job
16. I graduated college in 1987 and I can say that "large lecture halls" were next to worthless. All that did was provide framework for content. I learned organic chemistry with my textbook in empty classrooms working out chemical reactions on a chalk board. The only lectures that were helpful were the TA lab and extra-cost tutoring sessions. There was better value in higher level classes where the ratios were more favorable

19. This Mission U got me rethinking college. This is my 6th year, still no degree. I learn more from youtube and podcasts than in the classroom anyway.
