The reason why so many humans are like this and confirm to social pressure is because the stark reality is free thinkers are not needed to keep the species going. I never felt that very strongly for some reason. In any of these sorts of situations, it just made me angry at those who I felt knew better. It did make me question myself to some degree, but if it were something obvious, I didn't care if I appeared crazy. Due to whatever influences, I guess I always just valued the truth above anything else. I saw, even if didn't understand, the danger of conformity to begin with and somehow saw that threat as greater than that of my own alienation. I guess it might have also had to do with the fact that I didn't like most people anyway for the fact that I felt they were stupid XD
Trust the government. It's the normal thing to do.
