  1. What are you talking about "no taxes". In my state any purchase of coins below $1,000. is charged a sales tax.  Unless you cross the border into New Hampshire.
  2. Where are you ?  It looks real comfy.  Are you burning popcorn ?
  3. I am in the US and am a beginner in the silver hoarding (lol). Pretty much have stayed with pre 65 coinage and new silver rounds. Nice video. I am curious as to the tax rate that is charged there? Kind of think it sucks
  4. great video and cool fire in the background. thanks for sharing your advice
  5. I liked that 8 doubles round you showed. I never seen one in silver. I have the old bronze version.
  6. Now that's one hell of a fire my friend!
  7. Liked and subbed. Nice Silver rounds you got there. BTW you have a beautiful home
  8. You say it is just round like it was made out of paper. Silver is silver no matter who mints it.
  9. nice intro
  10. That's good advice. Nice silver rounds. I like the Buffalo/Indian Head round. Also my favourite.

I wish they made gold rounds but alas its mostly bullion/numismatic coins or bars with gold.  I have seen hardly any gold rounds compared with silver rounds.
  11. Awesome!! Nice video. Great info and presented very well.
  12. The cash I save with buying rounds I use to go buy a sheet of 100 x 1g silver bars from Valcambi.
  13. Loving the natural sound of the fire. Great video for newbies. Thanks for sharing.
  14. Good video.
Question: Is the bullion tax in Ireland the same for .925 sterling coins/rounds/bars or is the tax just on .999+ bullion?
  15. Hi irishsilverstack, the coin the lady on it is a maria theresa thaler, I think she was austrian. Nice looking coin, I picked up one for 5 euro at a car boot sale and flogged it off for 30 on ebay over a year ago. They weigh 1 oz,  28g and contain 83% silver with the rest copper. Nice open fire fire, keep up the good work
  16. Great Heads up,  Thank You for sharing this Irishsilverstack
  17. In some cases you can ask a dealer if he has a melt barrel(not really a barrel but a place he keeps the cheapest silver)  and also can look for companies(apmex, provident) to have a sale with no shipping cost. Often these are the lowest priced generic silver. Good video, now go get that ginese.
  18. That's a nice fire you've got blazing there man. Takes me back. My later father use to make toast, straight off the coal fire. The best toast in town too.
  19. Good sound advice .
  20. Excellent advice for newbies, but you did overlook the collectability of the Austrian Thalers as they have many variations that indicate when & where they were struck & you can also identify the low mintage years.
