Broker Review: Robinhood Trading App I give my feedback and review, both good and bad, of the Robinhood Trading App. Yes, they have free commissions, but does that mean they are still a quality broker and someone you should be using to trade and/or invest with? 2. What is your preferred broker? I a am fairly new and have been doing nothing but reading and watching videos for months now to make sure i dont mess up anything.
3. as a finance student graduating next year i was eager to put all the stuff i learned in class to use. I was happy to learn that there are no commission fees but it sucks that this isn't a good online platform for active trading

5. What's the difference between stop loss and stop limit?
6. If you have atleast 20k and open a margin account then you're set with making money.
7. PDT applies to margin (not cash) accounts only, no?
8. What about tastyworks.com (formerly tastytrade). Any thoughts on that brokerage?
9. Cash accounts dont have PDT rule but 3 day setlement applies which is for all brokers

12. Using Merrill, Ustocktrade, and just got RH. Great , it's easy and free, having serious liquidity issues w Ustocktrade for a while now , so we'll see how RH is, but I like it and funds are instantly replaced, watch out for pdt without 25,000 though. Thanks for the vid Clay
13. I agreed with everything even though I'm watching this is in march 2017, except for one thing. Everywhere I heard about the updates of the platforms, I heard it was delayed. That was probably from about three other sources. But other than that everything you said seemed to match up

15. I used to use it. Switched to another broker. Trade execution was slow and felt like I was missing out on fast trades. I'm mobile most of the time and use MOMO stock discovery (find breakouts) and tradingview along with a few studies (review charts) to place my bets.

19. I felt so bad when I was playing a stock trainer and I "payed" $20 for 100,000 stocks which turned into $140,000. If only I invested real money into it.
