  1. yet another talk for people who aren't smart enough to build their own dataset or write their own code. Waste of time. No one is going to make money (for themselves) putting their IP into a platform they don't own or control.

Does anyone think ANY read traders use this? No, they code their own.

MT5 is more credible as a platform than Quantopian.
  2. So you aren't a coder or a trader.......... but you "upspeak" like a 15 year old californian girl. Great talk..... not

  4. Just stumbled across this. Looks like a great platform for training junior quants. Also potential for Hedge Funds that do silos to tap potential talent. But Dr. Strauth, please do me a favor. For the love of God please stop with the millennial "upspeak". If you make a declaratory statement, end it with a period and not a question mark. Every third declarative statement you make is intonated as an interrogative. Very annoying vocal modulation habit by young people that is spreading like the plague.
  5. Coding in python for web, mobile app, bio informatics, IOT can be extremely fascinating. But when coding for trading, you've got to drop everything and focus only on one thing - market trends. Yes, you can check your company's revenue and cash flow every quarter. But for casino, several times a day. For trading every micro seconds count. Looks like Dr. Jess Stauth is very much deep in to it. Great presentation.
  6. Great talk for a beginner like me, thanks!
  7. I wonder if reverse splits on etfs screw with the data when back testing

  9. Great and informative vid. Thanks so much for sharing; Jesus Christ Bless! :)
