  3. how do stamp a 90% silver bar .9 or .90 or 90 what?
  4. I find on ebay 26 lot half dollars 40% silver for 22 dollars
  5. what country are you from? what happen in your country
  6. I watched a video that stated that the U.S. Mint weighed their silver half & quarter coins before they left the mint for the integrity of their silver content.  But they didn't weigh their "dimes" !  Most likely because their scales couldn't weigh something that light. So they could've been "light" in weight or "heavy".  Then you have the "wear" factor where they have lost weight.
  7. nice video good silver buying 101 clip
  8. That's one ugly baby.
  9. +TheModernSurvivalist, Cool, I didn't know that about the British coins, thanks for the info. :D
  10. Mercury dimes are so americana, it has the face of the messenger of the gods and right next to it, In God We Trust. You gotta love that.😜
  11. Great video thank you. I think people especially in America don't know a lot about their fiat dollars. I want nothing but precious metals after reading up on the whole system. I think everything is unsustainable.
  12. I just bought my first Pamp Suisse Fortuna silver bar the other day. I paid a premium and it's only 50 grams but it's something I plan on keeping in my wallet just in case. Came in assay packaging with authenticity serial numbers etc. From now on I may just stick to junk silver.
  13. Why get excited over 90 % silver coins.
Will any merchant want them in trade.

.999 % silver coin and you got a winner in trade.
  14. You paid 13.99 per ounce for the UK junk coins? If I heard that correctly, that would translate to $28 per ounce of silver, which is ridiculous if you recently bought it. Of course, in the grand scheme of things, it hardly makes a difference if you can afford it, but if someone is looking for better prices then buy 1964 Roosevelt dimes as they are very available so prices are not too high.
  15. Mercury dimes should be classified as "Numismatic" because they get a higher premium than Roosevelt dimes, meaning they cost more per dime and at the same time are so worn that, while 14 1964 rosies would make approximately one ounce of silver it would take maybe 15 or 16 Mercurys to weigh one ounce. So when tshtf who will give a damn about Mercurys when you want a loaf of bread? A smart dealer will weigh them for silver content.
  16. Great discussion.
  17. But it's only 50% silver fool!
Don't pay 13.99 per oz for those. T It is not worth it.
  18. Liked and subscribed.
