  2. a relative of mine told me to setup an ING savings account for an emergency fund deposit. great idea but when I go online and lookup ING there's nothing there for the u.s...? some one said capital one 360 is same as ING, they bought em out or omething is this true???
  3. Wishful thinking if your going to last another 70 years.. Unless your 10. :), on the other hand my lifelong overweight grandmother is 93 so could happen.
  4. Do the checking accounts have ACH enabled? for electronic transfers
  5. Hey great video. I am currently researching into opening a checking account and Capital One 360 seems like a great option. I'm currently in college and need an account to manage online purchases for books and such. I usually use cash for the majority of my purchases, would you recommend it for someone like me?
  6. the cash thing was my biggest concern. glad to know that is no longer the case.
  7. you forgot a pro for those who travel no international fees on buying things or atm out of the usa big plus if you travel alot rob
  8. Whoopie! Cap One just sent me a new debit card to replace my old debit card.. Just activate the card. Only I have never owned a debit card, but they go to some depth to convince me I had their debit card that has now expired. This is like a con, especially designed to confuse old people, which is really annoying Not appreciated.
  9. Three weeks (15 business days) after submitting Power of Attorney documents and HOURS on the phone with customer service and STILL my documents are not processed. "We just changed our procedure and the legal team hasn't been trained." plus a myriad of other excuses I keep hearing from "managers" and "customer advocates". This bank is the most unprofessional inept institution I have had to do business with regarding a timely processing of Power of Attorney documents. Because the legal team cannot get around to processing the documents, Capital One restricted the account and actually reversed transactions. Meanwhile, the customer from whom I am legally responsible suffers. They say the care, but refuse to act. Get as far away from this bank as you can!!
  10. Hi I know I'm a little late to comment haha, this may seem like a stupid question but if we sign up for the capital one 360 checking and savings would I receive a debit card of some sort?
  11. +Radhika Jujjavarapu You are not charged for transfers. I have linked several bank accounts. No charge. There is a time delay, but it's free to transfer, no matter how small the transaction
  12. Are you charged transfer fee at Chase/Capital One when you transfer money from Chase to Capital One checkings? I bank with Wells Fargo. I want to open a Capital One account but fear those transfer fees
  13. is there a minimum of money to have to start?
  14. do iget paid for referring people ?
  15. Finally, an informative review of CapOne 360. Thanks for this!
  16. There is other way to deposit cash. You can't just go to a capitol one bank to a teller and deposit cash?
  17. Very helpful! Do you know if the money is insured?
