  10. @casadebarcenas I'm not english spoken language and may be I haven't understand very well, but has she said that this equipment was sold for $46,000? To get a gain for $8800 the company has to sell the equipment for $46,000!!
  11. @JpassTheTime you forgot to add the Gain of 8,800 to 16,600.
  12. @hackingtime88 Accum Dep has a credit balance. So, to offset the disposal of an asset (a CR) you DR Accum Dep since no more A/D will accumulate for that plant asset.
  13. wait.. how did she get 25,400 cash? why wasnt it 16,600? (46,000-29,400)??? WHAT DID I DO WRONG??

Dear Susan many thanks for posting these gr8 videos Please answer me the following query Plant Assets are decreasing hence its a credit entry I agree but Please explain me why accumulated depreciation is a debit entry Its an expense entry which should be credited if decreasing - I am bit confused
