Complementary Currencies in the EU - People seek alternatives

Europe's second largest economy is abundant in complementary currencies - not by surprise. Switzerland with the http://wir.ch and the http://zeitboerse.ch and the http://kiss-zeit.ch is the leading country in the Western world in such financial innovation: WIR is the oldest modern complementary currency and the other two are the Western Hemisphere's (!) first social elderly care currencies, following the Japanese system (!) of elderly care complementary currencies, the Fureai Kippu. Uruguay's C3 (http://www.c3uruguay.com.uy) goes even further than the WIR, which it originally replicates: the C3 is digital and is accepted by the local national tax authority, thus it is de facto (!) "money". (Whatever a particular nation's tax authority accepts as currency for paying taxes, that is money - that is why tax authorities are created for: to legitimize the monopoly of the state owned, centrally issued, artificial scarcity, positive interest rate currency (that is, it motivates for hoarding and taking it out of circulation for holding, and not for putting it into circulation and spending it, this is why we have a "crisis"). For more, look at Bernard Lietaer's works on amazon. See also Brazil's C3: http://www.compras.rs.gov.br . Try http://cyclos.org as the world's most advanced complementary currency software. 1. Jct: Though http://SmartestManOnEarth.Ca started the alternate currency movement with the LETS Local Employment-Trading Software back in 1984, that's the bottom up solution. Everyone getting an online interest-free Central Bank Account credit line does the same from the top up.
