  1. Well, I have to say that I prefer the second half when it comes to the feel of the music. It's mostly because the first part wasn't exactly to my taste (as are some of his other songs from the past, but I recognize the revolutionary way he trail-blazed in the music industry, and I admire his works for what they are). Maybe it's just the video that is off putting? It's easier for me to listen versus watch, lolz. I do think it is amazing though, how hard he worked all the way to the end. That's definitely something to be proud of. To me, he was always just the Goblin King, but seeing some of the comments below, and listening to his songs and how people react to them....I can see he was so much more.  Maybe not all of his songs were something I'd listen to, but I do think he was an amazing musician, and I'm happy he produced more music before he passed.
  2. Does this remind anyone else of Iron Butterfly's In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida (In the Garden of Eden?

    I think it would be just like DB to do such a thing, doubly so given the subject matter. It would be poetically full circle given that Space Oddity, which started Major Tom's journey, was roughly the same time. Then again, maybe it's just me.

  8. Am I the only one detecting some early King Crimson influence/similarity?
  9. I am the BLACK STAR and nobody can take my place. I will turn this place rightside UP!
  10. I've been thinking about it, but I'm more or less convinced that Blackstar was the best album he ever made.

    He experimented until the very end.
  11. Rip David Bowie 😢
  12. 2017~ This year we will see why this album was the first of its kind and the first of a never expected change. Though the media as he predicted will try to tell us what to make of it his project of the idea will already be there to reference and guide us. You will see Youtube: Dr Steven Greer (if you grow as tired of the lack of truth as I was).
  13. Edgy art project...*ON STEROIDS*
  14. The beginning and end are great and all, but that middle part is among one of the best things I've heard
  15. the more i watch this the more i'm obsessed with it
  16. beautiful, but the first six minutes are just droning on and it gets annoying, but after the droning it gets mesmerizing
  17. When you're under 20, and everyone uses this to assume you only liked Bowie after he died. ;-;
