DJ Scratch Sound (Tom Morello Style Solo) using a Guitar with Removable Killswitch

Bulls on Parade by Rage Against the Machine A removable kill switch is easy to build. This type of kill switch doesn't require soldering a wire to your guitar cable. You need a 1/4" Mono Panel-Mount Audio Jack, a 1/4" Mono Phone Plug, a Project Box (Enclosure), a Momentary Button (Switch) and some wires. Actually, the box that I used is self-made from 5mm and 3mm forex sheet and black sticker. Check the web to know how to build. Enjoy!!! Oh, and this guitar is a Fender Highway One Stratocaster with Seymour Duncan JB Trembucker, running through a Zoom G7.1ut Guitar Effects Console.

1. @korea148 Actually, this video's intent was only to show that you can use a killswitch without modifying your guitar. The "Morello Guitar Scratch" was just an example, not intended to capture his tone. This was a random event that I was bored, and was lazy enough not to set up an amp and proper recording in the process. I recorded this video using a camera phone(including audio) and a cheap computerspeaker connected to my effectsprocessor. Anyway, thanks for your comment and interest.

11. I dont use the middle pickup so i just removed it and left the five way switch so when i put it in the middle it is dead. and u switch from middle to bridge
