10. Yeah I'm definitely not the expert when it comes to the details of the tax law. There is an income limit for a traditional IRA as well, no? In any case, I think it's always better to get funds in a tax advantaged account if the rules permit you to do so. There are so many great index fund ETFs that you can purchase directly through any investment account that have the same advantages as mutual funds that I don't think you are giving anything up by not going direct to a mutual fund.

13. Don, we loved your video !Wish we were younger. What do you advise to older retired people who are on a fixed income? Where do we put our cash , now that banks are not giving us any interest ?I can remember when we were getting 5 per cent . I have a good memory!!

17. Don I also meant to ask-- if your household is over the income limit for a Roth, do you suggest going for a traditional IRA over investing directly in mutual funds, etc? I've been trying to weigh the tax benefits...
18. I'm cautiously skeptical unless you really know your market and you know what you are doing. See my other comments below.
19. A Roth IRA is a good 401k substitute that you can set up yourself without your employer. Any of the securities I linked in the description to the video are good investing vehicles to start with!
