Ethereum Classic For Investors #16 - Difference Between ETC Dev vs. IOHK Developers - By Tai Zen

Comments

  1. is there a ETC white paper and roadmap? also what reason did Gavin Wood leave the project? if I remember he also left as one of the curators prior to the DAO hack. How successful is Casper (PoS) going to be if the developer who coded nearly the entire project left? does vitalik have the knowledge to code this alone?

seems like etc is bullish whenever the difficulty bomb (metropolis) is released but will people use ETC for smart contracts

I have many questions and any resources for information would be really appreciated
  2. ETC FTW
  3. Carlos: Thank for the interview. So what i learned from this... ETC has 3 teams behind it - but what about ETH - is there just one - the team with Vitalik? or what? How many people are involved in ETH vs. ETC? and what are your opinion about the strength and capabilities in these teams vs. each other? Which has most power, knowledge ect - do you thing? At the moment ETH is like 20 times more valuable than ETC - but after listening to this interview the price - they should be equal i guess or what? Why is the price difference so hugh? Further - when every thing is open source - do the different teams use pieces of each others code as well or what? Like the PoS - Casper. It wouldn't make much sense if all teams ended up creating the same lines of code...lol
  4. Thank you guys!
  5. thanksss guys xoxo! where do you see ETC in 6 months? - will you guys be updating us on Steemit.com advancements
  6. Great overview for all kinds of people learning things, thanks guys.
  7. I decided to invest in ETC when I learned the devs capped the total number of coins at 210M. But I'm curious: Did the devs do this because it's bullish for the price of ETC or did they do it because it'll give ETC a technological advantage down the road?
  8. Do you think stratis will still go up, I bought some at 60 cents a few days ago
  9. I see we have 3 ETH'ers in denial...
  10. The interview could've been more flowing if there was less interruption while Chuck is talking ... anyways... thanks for covering latest update on ETCDEV Tai! Please keep regular updates coming!!
  11. Keep the Classic Coming!
