Fun way to teach teens about stock market. My unexpected results.

1. I am 16 and want to buy and sell stocks. am I able to buy stocks I'd I am a minor? every website I go on says you need to be 18. Do you know any websites where I (a minor) can buy and sell stocks???
2. Any 'small-time' allowance which I provide to my teenage daughter -she does invest in Gold (either ornamental or coins/biscuits) after her mandatory expenses!
   She 'advises' me it is very low risk and she feels happy and getsa morale boost when her investment fetches 'small' profit after 2 to 3 years!
   I too think it is fairer to do this way and after sometime, when they earn their living, they could always take more risks and invest in shares, mutual funds, corporate bonds etc.
