After purchasing the maximum number of shares, you must back out to the home screen. You will eventually have more shares than you can possibly liquidate, so you will have no profit after you select "sell all". Just manually select slightly less than the max, as depicted in the video. You will not be able to make more than $2.147bn(the maximum positive value for a 32-bit binary integer).

For this to work you need to uninstall the game and re-install whilst not connecting your console to the internet as Rockstar have patched it, once you pass the lifeinvader assassination buy their stock and sell straight after to double your money, once you get to a comfortable amount just save your game and turn off your console, connect back to the internet and download the patch, then hurrah you have shit ton of cash in the bank. this is a good way to buy loads of stuff to really enjoy the game that little bit more. It also works if you are further in the game i did this just before the paleto score only difference is i could use Trevor as well and also had more cash, oh and the price of shares are a tad bit more expensive but your actually don't lose money if you have done the above correct!
