GTA V - Stock Market: How to make millions. ('Trading Pure Alpha' Trophy / Achievement Guide)

✔ Trading Pure Alpha - Make a profit over your total investments in the stock market. If you want to make the most out of these missions, complete the story missions first and don't spend any money if it isn't necesarry. Once you complete the main story, do all the assassination missions and invest your money. You should be able to get up to 2 billion per character. The companies you want to invest in: -- 1st Mission: Buy Betapharmaceuticals (BAWSAQ) at 304. Sleep three times, sell at 371.82. -- 2nd Mission: Buy Debonair (LCN) beforehand. Sell after it peaks. (Buy Redwood immediately after you sell and wait till it peaks at 300%, then sell it.) -- 3rd Mission: Buy Fruit (BAWSAQ) before the mission and sell at 495.2. 1. I'm not 100% on this but i believe trevor has shares of animal ark stocks when he first becomes available to play. i sold the shares and got the achievement even though i didnt actually buy them
2. what is alpha though I don't see a stock that is labeled ALPHA?

8. These, and the random airport ride event are one time deals. IT IS BEST to wait until the last possible moment to do all these, or at least til after the main score. You will have to do the first assassination mission to trigger the armored car heist, but you can stock up a little extra before that and maximize your profit. This mission is the green "L" just off the pier. After that, DO NOT go to the green L (Franklins Lester mission *Assassinations)) until youve done the main score. By the same token, if youre driving down the west coast and see a guy in a suit next to a busted car, keep driving until youve made all your money.This will make this event worth anywhere from 300 million to over a billion dollars all by itself. One time only. Edit: REMEMBER! On a couple assassination missions, like the Redwood job, you can re-invest your profit from Redwood, in Debonnaire (Or vice versa, I forget which is which at the moment.), and make another giant chunk of change as their stocks climb back up the market. This takes a bit longer.
9. Another tip to this is to invest into redwood market after the mission is done and sell them after their recovery, after around a week in-game time I got 500% of that I invested, thats a lot of money especially if you use all the money you gain from the other trade as well. In total I gained about ten times the money I invested before the mission.

18. i've looked everywhere to find out why the goldcoast isn't rising or lowering. he completed the mission thinking that the stocks would rise like everyone has said, and they aren't, HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
