8. Can't simultaneously buy and sell the same pair in the U.S., because it's essentially just closing the trade. All you're doing is holding an unrealized loss and tying up margin. The same effect could be achieved by closing a trade and placing a pending order to re enter. Sure, you'd book the loss and couldn't pretend you have a 99% win ratio, but let's be real, that 1% of the time you lose will be when you've tied up all of your margin from doing this too long and start taking all those unrealized losses at once i.e. you blow up your account and learn a new term "risk of ruin". There's a good reason that the NFA has made it illegal to trade both sides of the same currency pair, and this is it. I mean, look at the video, he says he went from 320 to 420. Really he's at 540, with 120 in unrealized losses that he doesn't even have enough margin to cover without blowing up... unless he's going way, way over 50x leverage. At any rate, the video shows you how to put your money in a pile and set it on fire, while having nice reasonable dreams of fooling yourself into thinking you'll make mediocre gains. In reality this strategy will fall every time, in slow motion.
