  1. Thanks for the video it is helpful. What would be helpful for us newbies is if you had a video showing your trading screen just on a day trade short sell, you know on one of those days the market is taking a huge dive. Just a video walking us through the ENTIRE PROCESS in real life. Just a suggestion for an idea for a future video. Thanks for making this video, it is interesting =)
  2. how do you sell a put on etrade?
  3. I've been trying to figure out the differences between buy open, sell open, buy close, & sell close. Can someone help me? I even went on eTrade's help section but didn't see it
  4. Damon,      Great video.  I am currently working with an income generating program...  I have a few questions.  They are advising me to "Sell to open ABC stock by July 15, 2016, 65.00 put option"  Do I still click "Buy Open" when first buying this put option?   It makes me think that if they say Sell Open I should click that when purchasing the stock option?  Am I confused ?  Secondly they are slightly below the current stock price and you advised to be slightly above.  What  is your reasoning for being slightly above the current stock price?  Should my limit price still be in the middle between the bid and ask?  Last question is in relation to the TERM.  What is the reasoning for each choice?  Should I always choose "Good for the day?"  I just want to make sure your advice coincides with the goals of my program as in ROI goals.  Sorry for the book.  Thanks in advance for  the help.  Brendon
  5. How do you sell the put and can you get rid of it whens theres still time left on the contract but you want to take the profit?
  6. @4:26 why is it that the longer options are more expensive? is it basically because the seller of the put option has to insure your stock for a longer period of time?
  7. could you do a video on how to buy call options on e trade?
  8. I would rather be researching all day long on investments, and doing this stuff then trying to manage servers and networks, and going after bad guys on the network that we can never catch. lol
  9. I just sent my application in to get upgraded to level 3, if you keep putting videos out like this, meaning the actual input on trades, for etrade and explaining all the different options, like you do in this video, then I will be at your knowledge and experience level some distant time in the future.  Currently I am just doing 1 stock and 2 stocks at a time, minimal risk, and not doing anything stupid like a beginner usually makes.  I am like you, strategy, analysis, facts, and trends.  I am just trying to figure out a overall strategy to hedge against the coming possible crashing market.  I wish you could share that knowledge with your viewers.  A video that explains what your current strategy is, for example, you are betting against the market in certain stocks, putting options down, you have invested in growth stocks, maybe some ETF funds, maybe some REITs.  This would be a great addition to a person like me looking to quit my full time good paying job.  I am just trying to figure out how to replace my income before I quit my job.
  10. This is a great video.
