How to get $1.50 commissions - How to lower trade commissions with TD Ameritrade - best broker

Ever wonder how to lower commissions at your broker? Here is one way how if you use TD Ameritrade. With the standard commission rate being $10 a trade, you can use this trick to lower your trade commissions by 90%! This only works for TD but if you are using eTrade, there are also ways to lower your commissions, an it starts by simply having your account for longer than 2 months and making 30+ trades. If you have more than 30 trades with etrade, simply call and ask for lower commissions or tell them you will be going to a different broker and they will lower your commissions to $7.99. Nonetheless, if you are just starting out with trading options and have a small account, using this commissions trick, it may be better to start with TD Ameritrade as you won't get killed by commissions! Commissions are crucial when it comes to options trading as you have to pay a flat rate plus a base fee, so make sure you avoid slippage and keep those commissions under control. If you have high trade commissions it can really cut into your options trading profits so I highly suggest you all take advantage of this before its too late!    "Beginning in January, you will no longer be able to access your brokerage (TD Ameritrade) account using dough's software platforms.
   
   The good news is if you wish to use the dough trading platform after December 31st, 2016, tastyworks will be open for business and accepting new account applications beginning January 3rd, 2017."

13. If I buy 100s of contract each at 1.50 a contract, this dough price actually becomes a lot more than other commission set ups like 4.95 + .50c/contract.
