How to Start Trading Part Time With A Full Time Job. Many of us find it quite risky to go all in when it comes to day trading and most would like to start supplementing their income with day trading before they actually quite their job. Starting to trade part time with a full time job is actually the process that we recommend to everyone at Day Trading Academy. With trading being such a psychology endeavor it is important to understand that having the pressure to make money is going to affect your decisions in the market. If you actually quite your job instead of keeping it and working on making money day trading part time then you will surely start to lose money because of the "pressure" to make money., The best thing to do when starting to trade part time with a full time job is to achieve consistency trading while you still have your job. With new technology one can begin to learn how to day trade at night, weekends, or even in the early morning hours (think 1/2/3 in the morning). Once one achieves a consistently profitable result for roughly 2-3 weeks then we can start to consider how to adjust our work schedule to accommodate day trading. If you have a job that doesn't allow you to trade during normal market hours then we can switch to other markets. When trading to start trading part time with a full time job we can trade before or even after work considering that many markets are open 24 hours a day. Since we specialize in futures many of our traders trade for only an hour or two a day. Once we finish trading we completely finish for the day so we don't have to continue watching the markets. With that schedule one can adjust the schedule at work in order to start trading part time in the morning while still working at a full time job.
