Prices can be predicted but it's extremely difficult and not many people can do it. Jim Simons who founded Renaissance technologies knows how it can be done and has made billions because of that. Markets are not random but the signals for price movement are extremely subtle and require very sophisticated algorithms and loads of historic price data to be picked out. Otherwise a good video.
Theta or time decay can be -0.00 if the option time till experation is big enough. the bid/ ask price needs to be taken in to consideration as well. if you buy an call option a the bid price of $0.80 and the ask price is $1.00, not including brokerage fees, you are already down 20%. which would be a $20 dollar loss plus brokerage fees. a fundamentalist knows that over the long-term you can not beat the market. some technical investors are profitable, more do to with psychology than anything else, short-term investments are far more risky, and to the average investor they do not have the knowledge to know they are risking more by trading options. Be a concensus, honest and a diligent informer of option trading. your hurting people and their financial well being by over selling options as purely profitable..
I'm very impressed with your videos which are very instructive, thorough & concise. Hence, I'm now a new subscriber. U follow the same 'school of thought' for option trading as TastyTrade & OptionAlpha. In my opinion, selling premium (w/defined risk) is the 'only' way to trade options for "consistent" profits.
