  1. My broker still hasn't gained enough faith in me to let me sell naked. Everything else is fine. I just need to get the last tier of approval. One day... my repertoire will be complete. For now, it's Big Boy Iron Condors and bull put spreads, mainly.
  2. How do you explain 95% POP on 68% 1 SD strangles?
  3. Is it possible to show your results on a broker's paper trading platform as a potential to gain higher clearance?
  4. So are you saying that most Brokerage Firms will allow this with a level 1 account? I'm able to "day trade" using options with my small account because it's an all cash account. It's helping to grow my account.
  5. @7:20 you mention to email to get permission for tier2, or help. Where does one send the email? Just the support email on your website?
  6. I understand the whole "selling premium 1SD out @ 45 DTE" strategy and everything, but what do you do when your brokerage won't let you write naked options or even spreads on American style options (low options level)? I'm a fairly new options trader with a small account and I already know I don't want to BTO/STC calls and puts on equities. As fun as it is to read, read, hope no bad news comes out, and guess SPX's direction, it kind of isn't at the moment. I'd also like to be able to use the IV crush around earnings time to make some plays. But I just really don't like theta working against me.
  7. Hey guys, Happy Holidays!   I'm pretty new, studied Elliot waves and the fib for the last 2 years, and just  recently started trading using Scottrade, mainly S&P... with only 3 trades in a 5 day, can I trade futures S&P daily? What names would I look into...can you recommend certain companies that you know and trust...? Im learning pretty fast and value the 6 hours and 15 minutes of trading time, I think theres a lot to be said about ITM trades, strategies, seems the sky is the limit and thank you for your awesome videos !!   ---Dan
  8. Hi how many days until expirations for the strangle? is it 45 days?
  9. I think that the smaller the accounts are, the more a trader would have use for a bet size management like the Kelley formula rather than many spread out positions.
  10. What's a SD strangle?  What does 84% OTM puts or calls mean?
  11. You guys rock! Quick question though, during the study in this video, was there directional sentiment when choosing the strikes? I feel silly asking but it wasn't mentioned, unless I missed it.
  12. I just started trading options . I have an account size of about 12000. Im able to do Iron condors and most strategies with the exception of those that require more margin requirement. I also recently applied to do futures because of the fact that there are options traded. Thanks to tasty trade for sharing the info on trading. I would like to raise my tier level to level3. How would I go about doing this?
  13. So, you like to roll dice.....Vegas beckons....
  14. Ahem, lending you 1000 dollars would NOT be risk-free money...
  15. It's 7 dollars, duh
  16. Thanks for sharing this. I'm a 29 year old, young investor and looking for guidance like this. I've been watching your Strategies for an IRA segment, "Where do I Start?" with Case Sosnoff and just finished the doughjo courses on Dough.

Any other advice/tips on how to keep educating myself and growing small account sizes?
  17. No brainer!
