Comments

  1. How much does your amazing system cost? Is there a demo I can use for 6 months and see if it really works?
  2. At this time, the $VXDIF(15) is at +0.70 and the $VXDIF is about the same. Thus the official indication is to be long the XIV or SVXY
  3. Is trading VXX on the short side now a crowded trade?
  4. Note: The XIV hasn’t been around long enough to be tradable during this entire period, so
for the sake of this study I augmented the historical data in the XIV by assuming mirror
image percentage daily moves vis-à-vis the VXX, going back to the first day of the VXX’s
existence. This augmented history is available in OptionVue, and as you look at the XIV’s
historical price chart in OptionVue, remember that data prior to Nov 30, 2010 is
theoretical, while data from Nov 30, 2010 on is actual trade data.
  5. WTF???? This video, starting at time 17:01, shows purchase dates of 4/13/2009, 5/27/2010, and 11/23/2011 for XIV, but I just checked the inception date of XIV, and the inception date is 11/29/2010 as "k hall" pointed out.
  6. The inception of XIV was 11/29/2010 so how could this video show the buy date in April 2009?
  7. good concept, but very difficult to follow... it needs to be shortened and simplified.
