  7. This is a no brainer, maybe not to everyone, but a very big one to me.

I have both a credit card, and cash in hand, but the only difference to me is their physical appearance.
  8. We're looking at you hello games.
  9. Slightly disappointed with this video. While you're pretty right on all accounts in the video, I really wish you addressed the issue of DLC and Season Passes within the current video game industry, which supports the idea that it's okay to release a game that isn't fully finished and finish it later on with DLC. That's what I sort of expected with the video, but then again I guess the average person doesn't really play video games and care to that extent, which is why you aptly mentioned mobile games and the freemium system.
  10. I've seen it time and time again with many phone game apps where the game has many in-game popup promotions for ways to upgrade your game, in ways you can never earn without spending to the point that once enough people purchase, everyone else is compelled to keep up and purchase as well. Any alliance based game seems to work on this model quite a bit and some of these "alliances" will kick you out if you aren't strong enough, meaning you aren't spending enough. I've heard of people spending well over $20-30K (USD) within in 1 year to maintain their top player status. It's like a competition on who can spend more. Players that don't spend are 100 to 1000 times weaker than those that spend the big $$$. When people finally give up they try to recoup their loses by selling their accounts and then get screwed again when their accounts are stolen.

When I was young there was an Easy, Normal and Hard modes that appealed to any player type. Now there's one mode for all and if you want it to be easy, you pay to be better than the more advanced players that are working harder. This is similar to the real world where people in poor families work their asses off to keep up with rich people that are often handed opportunities or are born into the family business. So essentially, games went from a utopia of game play to a real world lesson on how life screws those that are poor unless you can work your ass off.
  11. I am just looking @ your muscles.. 😂
  12. Imagine if there was a restaurant or a clothing store where only 1.9 percent of people paid. That's the state of free to play games. Developers need to eat too
  13. That's why when I spend my money I try and do it through a debit card
  14. There's a 15 minute ad that keeps loading, can't watch the video 😡

  16. you look like rafi from the fine bros
  17. This guys face is so strange for some reason not saying hes ugly just strange looking
  18. fiscal irresponsibility.... thats me...
  19. ive spent a total of $1350 on CS:GO... I need to be stopped
  20. The way I hold myself back from dumping money on games (especially free-to-play ones) is to compare the cost and reward with more tangible things. For example, last week I almost caved and spent money on this one game I play. But when I realized that the "premium package" I was looking into cost me about 12 hours of work and a real-life tangible equivalent would only cost about $10, I stopped myself.
