How Would You Invest $10,000?

Diego asked me this question about investing $10,000 i have some cash saved up that i originally had for the down payment of my m3, but instead i want to put that money to work and grow but don't know what to invest it in, don't know how stocks work and not sure if gold is a good investment, if you had about 10,000 to spare what would you put it towards? thanks for the reply it means a lot to me

2. i want to go into partnership opening up a hair shop in brooklyn with a friend with a 10,000 investment. any advise? we all know times friend a business don't mix but willing to give it a try

4. a number of ways, first, the obvious route is real estate, ive had luck before finding apartments for $9,500 that gave me 300 a month in rent, so thats the easiest choice, but not much of a pay off as 300 doesnt do much. second, id take 1000 of it and put it into building an ebay business, its actually pretty easy to find things for $1 at flea markets or garage sales and flip them for 24.99 on ebay, its just about finding the correct item. this would leave me with $24,000 from ebay, after ebay fees and paypal, youd be sitting on around 20k, third, id take the additonal 9000 and invest in limited edition art prints. most people dont know how big art is, or that they can invest in art for as little as $50. there are tons of big name artists who release art on a weekly or monthly basis in limited editon prints, after the prints have sold out, theyre on ebay for 5x the price because of other collectors wanting them, the value of them only increases as time goes on as well. so, give me a year and id be able to either have a studio apartment that gives me rent every month, or id be sitting on around 60k, and those are just using "safe" investments, things with little risk.

6. invest in the foriegn exchange market. i tried stocks and lost all my money. the forex market is way more predictable, just takes a lot of paientients to wait for trades and hard work in studying market movment and the state of the economy
7. thats very well known in california, due to the weather in my location is very flimsy on harsh winter, i currently work as a server at a family owened business, but i have a detailing degree and i have already started my detailing business, but im afraid it will fail my work is above and beyond like art!, sadly not much customers want that, i need a location in a good year round weather and somewhat wealthy area where people big bucks for detailing ,or just detailing itself,
8. It may sound funny but i would buy a taco truck and make that a business....its all about location...knowing where to put it and honestly ive met a guy with that business and the dude takes home atleast $800 profit everyday
