How Zimbabwe functions without a local currency



Zimbabwe abolished its local currency in 2009 after obscene inflation. Since then, consumers have been using the U.S. dollar and other global currencies. But now that China's influence has increased, will retailers start accepting the yuan?

  13. Currency is not money - they have no inherent value - currency is just medium of exchange, a paper with pictures. If Currency isn't back up by valuable minerals or strong economy - its just a toilet paper nothing more.
