10. If he puts 25k of the 50k in a bank and the bank goes out of business and the government backed insurance is not good, that means that a great calamity has happened. In that case, the other 25k in the garage will be worthless pieces of paper.

    it will be worth the same as if the money had been "buried" in the bank for 10 years..the interest is negligible after tax,.... but YOU would have control over it.........NOT the greedy banks or government,.......particularly if you use it to do a bit of profitable buying and selling occasionally.

17. Please for the love of all things great...do not bury any cash; Do not put it in your attic. Any moisture will cause cash to deteriorate like dave said at 2:40......its just not worth it!
