  1. So the guy is 72 and has 1.8 million in savings. Collecting social security no doubt. Unless his intent is to leave money to heirs, he probably saved too much.
  2. I've been binge watching Dave's videos all day since I discovered him!! God has answered yet another one of my prayers. I'm a late bloomer to intelligent money management, but it's never too late. I'm ready now and can actually learn from someone I respect and trust because he's smart as heck AND he follows God!! #NoBrainer God bless you Dave :)
  3. 32 people disliked this lol. 32 people who will never win while they point fingers at everyone else blaming them.
  4. Who's trying to take David's money?
  5. Dave Ramsey sometimes you say dumb stuff
When people are talking about the wealth should be disrupted more evenly they are not referring to people that worked hard and saved. they are referring to billionaires that pay less taxes than their secretaries. or do you honestly think a CEO is worth $20Million dollars and gets a "golden parachute" package for $65Million eventhough he drove the company into bankruptcy.
or when scrupulous lending firms get a bailout for subprime mortgages at the taxpayers expense, do you think that's fair?
  6. The problem of wealth distribution is not David the plumber or the other 9 million millionaires in this country that have simply achieved the American Dream through hard work. it's people like the Walton family who own more wealth than the bottom 40% of Americans or Wall Street bankers being bailed out by the gov. after tanking the economy. No one is protesting the "millionaires next door" but the rich elite billionaires who pay less in taxes than their employees who they refuse to pay a decent living wage.
  7. I'm 36 yrs old and I'm a NYC union plumber. I make an average of $130,000 annually, and only work 35 hours a week. It's more than a decent living
  8. I know several plumbers and they all make very good pay around here... of course they own their own companies too
  9. I'm a big fan of you Dave. But what you're saying here is so off. We freaks are talking about the big oil corrupt company CEO's and politicians who are stealing our tax money. This plumber is included in our fight for money equality. He earned it with his hard work and admirable discipline. Not the elite in Congress and Bankers!!!
  10. plumbers and electricians can make 100k a year no problem...more if you are union.
  11. My average income was $50,000.00.I am also a member of the millionaires club. The starting point of all achievement is desire.........
  12. The plumbers where i live make more money in a week then I make in a month. Plumbers make a really decent living. It's a well paid technical trade. I would love to become a tradesman among other things but unfortunately I am physically disabled and don't make much money as a result of my disability. We are not all on a level playing field... just saying.
  13. Taxation is THEFT!
  14. $25 dollars for a month's supply of groceries? wow, that is insane. nowadays, there is not way that would be. gas is more. food is more. living expense is more. yet, pay is not up compared to all the other costs. not like back then.

back then people could by a home with typical income in the bay area. now? yeah right! big difference.
  15. sound too low on caller
  16. Dave the plumber's money would not be redistributed. His income is not high enough.
  17. Yah, that's the thing. His $60k back then was like $180k in today's money if not more. $25 was a month's worth of groceries! That's crazy. I don't know if he is single, but even my grocery bill in University was $200 a month for one person. In $CAD. If I only ate rice and beans and water to drink, it would still be $75 a month at the very lowest.
  18. I can bet Dave won't be voting for Bernie lol
