When it comes to learning how to trade options or stocks, there’s more to it than simply knowing how to in the basic sense. If you want to trade or even trade for a living you have to treat it like a business. Simply knowing how to trade and what goes into making a trade isn’t enough, you need to go beyond just the basic ingredients if you want to run your trading business successfully. This is why traders need to start thinking like entrepreneurs and treating their businesses as such. If you know how to trade, it doesn’t mean you know how to run your own company successfully. Actually, if all you know how to do is trade, you are missing the whole other half. As I explain in this video with a simple analogy that was brought up when one of my instagram followers asked for a phone call, it goes beyond just knowing how to make the pizza an what ingredients to put. It is about running the business and knowing everything involved so that you don’t expose yourself to risk when you go about trading options or day trading. I criticize a lot of options trading and day trading approaches because they are leaving traders in the dark an simply telling them all they need to know is how to cook the “pizza”.
