Does IB really allow you to buy direct from the exchanges? That must be vastly superior to Ameritrade's execution time. I believe Ameritrade has a middle man to wholesale it before it reaches the exchange.

Thanks for the quick reply, I looked into OptionsXpress and they offer a better service in comparison to the other brokers with lower comission fees as well, so I'll probably open an account with them. Apart from watching the rest of your channel do you have any suggestions for books I should read on options(you said to read at least one book a month)? By the way I'm only eighteen and so far the only book I've read on investment is The Zulu Priniciple which is mainly on Pe ratios/Fund. analysis
yeah I'm from Oz originally but haven't lived there for 10 years, so not sure I can help you that much. I used to have a Commsec account but their commissions were very expensive, not sure if that's changed now. CMC look pretty good, but i have no experience with them. Also look at OptionsXpress. I know a few people in Oz use them
@optionstradingiq Hey I was considering using Commsec or CMC markets for trading, but I'm new to trading and fairly clueless in regards to platforms, systems etc. Would you recommend using this platform and I'm assuming you're Australian because of your accent.
