Investing in B.C.'s Wood First program

More than $2.3 million is being invested this year in the Wood First program to broaden the use of B.C. wood products in commercial, government and mid-rise buildings. Funding priorities reflect the recommendations of the Wood First Advisory Committee, an expert panel of architects, engineers, code specialists, builders and industry representatives. The announcement of the program took place at a North Vancouver studio run by Brent Comber, an artist who works with wood and a member of the advisory committee.
