  1. Please someone explain. How are REITs better than just normal index funds. Sure, they have only real estate, but what are the real advantages. It is not like they are more profitable. What kind of a person would invest in a REIT and why?
  2. Are the same rules applicable for the Canadian/USA markets or is this just applicable in Australia?
