1. Does junk silver appreciate. Like on ebay buying pre 64 quarters is there a chance they can be bought now and resold later down the road for a profit.
2. I don't see where they get the fact that coins have a lesser premium than silver bars.  For barter yes, its brilliant, but for most silver for the dollar is buying large amounts. I.e. 50oz or 100oz I don't see how they say you pay less premium for coins, this isn't true for eBay for instance.
3. In a barter situation coins are a must. Most people would be intimidated by anything else and a basic weight per coin could be established without getting scales out every time to check. Most people could be confident at a glance whether or not a coin was not real. Just an opinion, not looking to argue.
4. I can't afford to buy bars in the amounts I want so usually I buy an ounce of junk silver here and there. If I wasn't in so much debt is probably own dozens of 10 troy oz bars by now.
