Largest Dragons Den Investment UK (completed) - Prowaste - £200,000

Paul Tinton appeared on Dragons Den in 2008 and asked for 200k for a 20% stake. Both Deborah Meaden and Duncan Bannatyne liked the opportunity and after an hour or more of investigating the company they decided to invest . The pitch was not the most interesting or fun, that honour is without question for Levi Roots, but it got the job done and has helped Prowaste become one of the leading construction waste companies in the UK. The company has gone on to launch www.proskips.co.uk which is a nationwide skip hire business.

  13. Hey I'm a silly American new to this show. What are the Brits calling Turnover? What we would call Gross Revenue?
  14. Paul died on his way to his home planet.
  15. 40 %?!
I don't know much about business, but that seems outrageous to me. He's got the idea, he has done the ground work and will continue to do so in the future. How is a one time investment worth 40 %? The risk alone can't be that expensive
  16. how about taking out a loan in a bank? instead of giving up half your company?
  17. Fucking annoying host. Get him off. Useless and pointless. Adds negative value to the show.
  18. Look up Prowaste management on companies house, the balance sheet isn't looking that good and proskips is definitely not the leading skip hire in the UK..
  19. Hiccup could train these guys.
