The brain does have the ability to absorb information whilst your asleep, as you may know from experience when real sounds from reality have entered your dream and woke you up. This works under a similar principle however the binaural beats ensure you are not woken up and that it is only the learning part of your brain that is listening to the video. Your brain has an optimal frequency for learning, (when you are totally focussed and absorb information easily) your brain also has a perfect frequency for remembering newly processed information and finally there is a frequency of the brain that allows your subconscious to absorb information whilst you sleep. When you then understand that binaural beats can put your brain at any frequency you want, it then becomes clear how this actually works. You are using binaural beats to basically get the most out of your brain. ★Main Features★: - Countries and Capitals: We use an up to date list of current Countries and Capitals. This video is great for helping you improve your geography knowledge, useful for school or exams, or just to boost your general knowledge. The country is said first, then the Capital is repeated once afterwards, the whole list is repeated 10+ times over the 3 hours, simply as repetition is powerful for learning new information, we also encourage you to repeat these capitals out loud if possible. - Binaural Beats: Binaural beats used are: Theta 8.0 Hz, Delta 4.0 Hz, Delta 3.0 Hz. These binaural beats are claimed to improve learning, encourage sleep learning, improve our ability to remember specific places and finally to improve memory and help process newly absorbed information. The combination of these 3 specific frequencies is hugely powerful. There are played in the correct order allowing for complete processing, understanding and most importantly memorising. - Soothing Music: Soothing background music, there is some very soft music playing in the background just to distract from the sounds of the binaural beats and to ensure you are not distracted from the capital cities you are learning. - HD Images: The images are there as a nice background, only 1 image is used as not to drain your battery or cause any buffering issues, we realise in this video actual images aren’t that important as it is more about what is being said than what you can see. Warning: Please remember first and foremost Theta/Delta waves are associated with sleep like states, so it is not advisable to use this video whilst driving. 3. Same, I'm going to the State level National Geography Bee in a few weeks. I'm going to try it. Hope it works!!
  4. I've just finished my first listen-through over the past couple days. (I'm here to more firmly memorize my world capitals, since I'm going to a state-level geography competition in a couple weeks). I never ended up listening to this while sleeping, but I did while doing homework, reading, taking a shower, etc. It helped ingrain a kind of "profile" in my brain of the city's pronunciation. Because of this, when I studied capitals outside of this video, it was easier to make the connections in my brain. Instead of simply scanning over a jumble of letters while using flashcards, I was able to say the city's name in my head, and get a firmer grasp on how it connects with its country.

In summary — this won't cut it alone. Use Quizup, Quizlet, or any random internet quiz to start forming the connections in your head. This video simply makes the connections easier and quicker to make. Leave it on while you do chores, make dinner, read, work, clean, brush your teeth, anytime you can devote a portion of your brain elsewhere, if necessary. Not sure how well it works while sleeping, but using this during waking hours probably does the trick just as well.

Update: I started memorized capitals on Saturday. I had maybe 60-80 beforehand. But it's Tuesday right now, and I have about 140-150. My method works pretty well for cramming, because now my friends can quiz me and I know about each and every one they throw at me (the common ones).
