1. aha, very good description to me of what means momentum. When i tried to use a MACD, I sometimes observed big slopes in market beginning from very extreme values of the MACD, crawling back to the other side after crossing signal line. Sometimes there is told, the MACD has to be > 0 for going long or vc, but thats often too late, is that right?
