We are looking for stocks that we expect will move in a predictable direction. We want to take a position with a predefined stop level and profit target. Sounds easy right? In a lot of ways it is. But there are literally thousands of different strategies for trading the market. Every trader has a unique approach to trading. Our goal is to teach you our strategies. I have developed a series of profitable trading strategies for beginners. Our Trading Courses focus on the most fundamental aspects of a successful trade. // Chart Patterns After you understand risk management and proper stock selection, we teach you how to find stock patterns on charts. These patterns are how we base our risk and reward. We look for chart patterns that have well defined areas of support and resistance. We will use previous support levels as our stop price, or our risk, and we look at previous resistance areas as our initial profit target, or our reward. If the profit vs loss ratio is 2:1 we will take the trade. I teach both day trading strategies and swing trading strategies. For day trading we focus primarily on 5min charts while swing traders focus more on daily charts. The patterns in general are the same. I teach traders how to find patterns in real-time including Bull Flags, Bear Flags, Flat Tops, Flat Bottoms, and Rubber Band Reversal Setups. // Trading Strategies Learning risk management, proper stock selection, and chart patterns is important, but those alone don’t create a trading strategy. A trading strategy requires details on the time of day you take these trades, what type of stocks you like to trade, what percentage to success you expect. All our students are required to papertrade and prove to me that they can trade on a percentage of success that is high enough to justify real trading. If you can’t make money in a demo account, you have no business trading a real account. We have saved students hundreds of thousands of dollars by encouraging paper trading while they are learning. The market will be here for a long time to come. The important thing for you right now is to build up the skills to trade the market successfully. You will learn that once you possess the skills to consistently make $20.00/day all it takes to make $200 is larger share size. Then all it takes to make $2000 is again, larger share size. The hardest part is being consistently green just $20/day. So that is our initial target for all of our students. Profitable trading 4/5 days per week for at least 3 months. 1. in one of ur videos u said u made around $1200 for the day and was done for the day. my question is how much could u make if u traded the whole day?
  2. Hey Ross, just wondering what platform you're using???
  3. absolutely clear explanation into the psychology of the chart. Ross, I think I'm getting in on your chat room.
  4. Wow! I have watched this over and over (with many 10-second rewinds). Because I could not see the candlesticks too well, I had difficulty understanding your exit strategy. Exit strategy is when the low of the red candle breaks the low of the previous green candle (I think). Is that pretty much right?
  5. Very helpful!
  6. What program is this??
  7. Big volume on the ramp up, wait for support/pullback with low volume and the break of new highs on big volume again. Thanks Ross.
  8. Ross, you say your focus is the one minute chart, but the chart on the right is a 2-minute chart. Did you misspeak or show the wrong chart?
  9. He is amazing isn't he? I could not believe the amount of "valuable and useful" information he shares with people on youtube.com when I first ran into him. Ross is so humble and so confident, so peaceful. So appreciative
  10. Invictus: I too am trying to psycho-analyse this conversation with Justin and Geen. Why would one want to weep over a trading video which contains nothing but theory and can never be wrong with retrospective 20/20 vision? In a practical or live situation, this is extremely arduous deciphering when and what stock will rise. On the other hand, why would Geek be yelling that Justin is a sick man, for what -- weeping? Obviously, he is not a professional trader, for an outburst of weeping, even joyously is emotionally flawed: imagine if one doesn't win, even when using these fancy scanners and clogged data and terminologies.
  11. Thank you great video
  12. this video is pure class mate, i want to sign up and work with you ross in the future. Thank you very much for your videos and for doing the $500 series. Thanks mate
  13. Wow amazing video
  14. I have a question:
you mention 'high volume and low volume' how would I distinguish if it's trading high or low volume?
Is it some benchmark number? (eg. over X is high and below Y is low? )
or is it ratio percantage of the total float?
    or....? please help :)
  15. One of the best videos!!!!!!
the other ones are fine too, however this one is showing such clear and understandable instructions, very easy to follow and actually understand!!! (in contrast to some of the others more vague).
    I love this one!!!
    I'm definitely sharing it!
  16. Are 8-10% gap ups fairly common in the US Markets?? It seems like most of his trades are based on gap and go.
In Indian Markets, on an average day gap ups are barely upto 3-4% that too on only 1or2 stocks
  17. Hi, do you wait for the candle to close before you buy or sell, and on what chart time frame?

    Thanks.
  18. I really like his read on the early red candles volume indicating if this is a long entry or a short sale. Nice!!
  19. How do you build a screener for gappers?
  20. Thanks for the video. How do I sign up for the group chat?
