hey, great video, I have a village set sealed and I missed out on the Crawler as they were $600NZD plus down here and our toy store only got a couple when they came out.
I don't know. My 4 year old is crazy for the Sandcrawler already. But very good point about this being the only Ewok village set they will make.
I would say the Ewok village takes the edge based on the mini figs. They would both look good on the shelf. Always a gamble though.
What do you think of the technic Porsche set? I bought one to save and considering picking up another before it retires ?
Don't forget that Lego can always re-release a set like they did with the Death Star.
They have both retired now but luckily i got both of them. If i had to choose a favourite out of the 2 i would choose the ewok village. The ewok village is around £50 cheaper, has more figures, looks really good for a non-ucs set and it has alot more play value and similar size to the sandcrawler. The sandcrawler to me is for display (thats why its a ucs) and it does look really good but looks a bit boring imo.
Hi! I have a question about the Lego Set Grand Carousel 10196. I got that set back in 2009 from my parents. Never opened, still factory sealed, package is in mint/near mint condition. Today, someone told me that Grand Carousel is worth over 3000 Euros. Is this a realistic price? On ebay Germany only one seller has this product in the same condition for 4499,99€ and I don't think that price is justified. How much is the current price for this set?
If you want the Ewok Village try Amazon, I just bought one for 30 dollars off for Christmas. I have both but check Amazon I know you can still get them and might get a few bucks off.
Very interesting topic. Let's just hope Lego doesn't upgrade the minifigs on the Ewok village and rerelease it, like they did the Death Star.
