1. Not sure I understand the part about using put options instead of stop losses. I'm new to options. Yes, you are halving your loss due to the delta as you explained, but the cost of the trade (price X 50) also has to be factored in, right? You could still end up losing the same amount as with a stop loss. If you have multiple contracts open on the /ES, does that mean you have to open an equal amount of put options? That cost would become even more prohibitive. If you have 10 /ES contracts open long, 10 put options could run in the several thousands, or am I misunderstanding something?
