2. Didn't even mention that this is an investment account. The money you put in is invested in the stock market, government bonds and real estate. You earn (or lose) money depending on market growth. You pick how aggressive you want your investment account to be. More aggressive=more risky but has higher pay outs. More conservative=more safe but with less pay outs. I'm really surprised this wasn't even mentioned in the video as Acorns are INVESTMENT accounts. Not savings accounts. Don't do this if you are pinching pennies. You CAN lose money!
