Motivation for Investing

When we sat down in our initial discussion about embarking on the investment path, one of the questions they ask is "What's the motivation for doing this sort of thing?" We thought if we could leave one house for each of our children that that would leave us in a sound position. It provides peace of mind. If we can manage to keep these properties right through to the end there is something significant that we can leave our kids. It might not pan out that way but I agree that leaving something to your children of significance is important.
