3. my income is similar and rent is higher (living in NYC) and I have money left for food, transportation, and utilities. I cut cable and some entertainment and was able to save up for the emergency fund and payed 3 cards already ( BS #2 half way done, onto school loan yay) I think she should stop paying her father's insurance, she's already paying them rent. She needs to budget better and make her own meals, somethings not right lol

5. There is someone at church that paid off a members student loans . The amount 1000s then a few years later they had another debt they could not pay. Lets do good so evil comes out of it.

8. Why do people go to University and end up with ridiculous debt to earn pathetic money? she could earn what she is earning with no education
9. I'm in $10,797.42 in debt I've recently just got a second job so I can try to pay some of this off but I'm just starting to feel overwhelmed. I was hoping you can help me
10. Financial Peace University?... I'm on government cheese. I got ran over by a car at a young age (16). Suffer brain damage. They/Government gave me disability and then switch me to SSI low-income hmm. Anyways, I"m thankful that I'm alive and thank God I've came a long way from the wheel chair. I am actually walking now and learning to read a few chapters per day thru prayers and bibilical readings. I like Dave's straight forward honesty about life...You're the only one that is responsible for yourself and your finances. Long story short, I don't place my trust on family friends reguardless how long I've known them ( people change ) I would like to attend Financial Peace University but I have financial struggle at the moment. I am taking a class per semester with my city community college. I am NOT going into debt to attend Financial Peace University, but I would like to know how much does it cost? I'll save my emergency funds first and then attend. If that's possible. thank you Mr. Financial Pharoah Ramsey :)
11. Ramsey's math is wrong again. She pays about $350 in rent and the combined auto insurance for her car and her dad's is around $306. Therefore, she isn't really paying $656 in rent effectively. It is actually likely to be less than $503 because the multi-car discount applies which alone is worth about 20%. Listen carefully at 1 minute 20 seconds into the video, she states she pays her father's car insurance as a way to help out so that she's not living rent free. In other words, this $350 itself might have actually been $306 total which part of it covers her own car. Therefore, I'm looking at a rent of less than $153/month for rent effectively.

13. $650 is not expensive. Theres almost nowhere where I live that is $650 unless you want to live in a run down studio in a bad neighborhood. No thanks! id rather pay $650 to my parents in a nice house & better neighborhood.
14. I'm 23. & I refuse to bring children into this world if I am not a millionaire. I'm not struggling to take care of kids that I can't afford to help properly. That's just my personal choice.
15. How do I pay my bills properly ?. Meaning should I pay in half every two weeks or pay full ?.
16. I support my daughter and grandson on a half time income. I don't know if I should keep internet or not, or keep our cell phones or not. Yes I'm looking for full time.

    She makes 3200 a month? Wow i would be moved out in 2 years tops.

20. if I worked 43hours I couldn't work any more than that! Dave suggestion of waiting tables... do you know how physical that job is!!? exhausting!!!
