New Silver Purchases: Prepper Silver Investing

www.greatnorthernprepper.com Today I show my latest buy of silver that just came in. I am changing my position taken on buying Damaged American Silver Eagles from Bullion Direct. I think that the Canadian Silver Maple Leafs are a better buy overall. I wanted to do this so that you will know I am putting my money where my mouth is in regards to buying silver and other precious metals. I also mistakenly called the Heraeus Bars "CMX" when you buy CMX silver you are buying Silver from one of the major companies such as Heraeus or Engelhardt. 1. I started stacking and acquiring firearms in Jan 2015 thanks to videos like yours. I just reached my 100th ounce of silver and made my first video. Thank you for the inspiration.
  2. Goldline's prices are steep, dickhead cust service reps. Lear was a very positive experience for me. I'm gonna check out this company too. Also, Bullion Direct's prices are higher than Lear as of the time that I'm writing this.
  3. keep on stacking cheap silver
  4. Thanks for sharing
  5. Thanks for sharing
  6. VERY NICE!
  7. You buy from Bullion Direct? Have you done any research on this company? Tons of complaints with the Better Business Bureau, Customer Care with no telephone communication available, and a lot of reviews from past customers of delayed shipping and no shipment at all. For those out there, use a reputable company, not BD. And shame on the OP for using their company name on this video.
  8. Nice picks :)
  9. I like "junk silver"-Roosevelt dimes in particular. War Nickels are 35% silver not 90%
  10. I find the Nickel concept interesting however I see some flaws...one is that there is other metal in the nickel so home smelting is nearly impossible, most people dont have any idea as to the value of nickel so its use in barter is somewhat iffy. Overall if you want to buy bags of nickels no harm in it, worst off is that you have to roll it and deposit it later, it will still be worth a nickel...whatever that might be worth in 20 eyars
  11. War nickels arent a bad way to buy, however they are more obscure than other forms of silver and you need A LOT of them to equal any real useful amount. Looking at Apmex they were around .60 over spot which is decent. However by the time silver is an 100 oz I wont be buying and if there is a lot of counterfeit silver out there then you will be in the same spot regardless. If you are trading or using silver as barter, few people have silver to begin with, and even fewer have war nickels
  12. If silver hits 100 or more an oz, fake silver bars and rounds will be everywhere.. there out there now, war nickels are the best way to go and safest
  13. Thanks Phillip! Yes Silver is what it is, much like how the CIA and other intelligence agencies had supplies of diamonds and drugs (heroin mostly) to use as currency in places where cash had little value, Silver is also something that can be taken to most places and its value is relatively stable across the board.
  14. Silver is what it is & no matter were you take it in the world ??? It is money ... Great video sir !!!
  15. Wayofthewoods, Just a few other thoughts, also we can't assume that a "collapse" will be total and last a long time. It could be a total collapse that lasts for a short time or a partial collapse that just slides us into a prolonged depression. In any case trade and commerce will resume and eventually a currency will be needed.
  16. Way of the woods, silver is for after the event and trade resumes. People need a currency for trade. Historically we have used metals. As preppers we can't JUST focus on the chaotic elements of a collapse but plan for and lay foundations to thrive in what happens after. And yes I wouldn't trade my food for silver during the chaotic times
  17. I don't see why you would prep silver? If i had ammo or other supplies, i wouldn't swap it for any amout of siler! (In a SHTF scenario) no one will want silver compared to survival supplie...
  18. Dan p, i have never advocated buying to resell in a few months or years, this is long term, 20-30 years. I do however think that when you see a dip and you have been meaning to buy some, by all means do it. Unlike others i see this as a opportunity to buy more not a "oh my god ive depreciated!" if you bought paper ETF's youd be in that boat....but listen to the totality of my message over the years..
  19. Thanks for the great information, I uploaded videos on my Chanel, How to invest in Silver on a budget, It's a great time to buy Silver at today's market prices. I subbed to your Chanel.
  20. nows a good time to get a good deal i think you can get 40% silver kennedys for around $55, but i understand what you mean. So whatever you can afford is individual and whatever you can buy is great. Wasnt doing this to show off, but to show that i put my money wehre my mouth is.
