   whatever zakir naik said its true.
   but as you said trading is halal unless you are not involving in haram products.
   but my dear brother the law of islam are the law of Allah swt. prophet of Allah implemented Allah's law as a sharia. and prophet may peace be upon him said don't sell what you don't own and don't sell on what you don't have possession. so dear brother there are Islamic rules and regulations for trading if your trading passes the sharia law then it will lawfull no matter what kind of trade you do. but in online trading you don't get the possession which is against the Islamic rule of trading.
   as dr zakir naik said is correct but it means physical shares which you can own .you will have possession on it. I hope you will get my point.
