1. if I sold call option for higher strike price and at expiry the strike was not reached. so can you tell me please why the velue for that option was not 0 at expiry.
2. I'm looking at SPX options. If i buy a call and don't exercise the ITM options, upon expiry, if i don't sell it do i lose the premium or does it automatically give me the profit. Also, are you even able to exercise the option since it's for an index?
